Social Media Packages

We offer 4 packages specifically tailored for authors, as follows:

 

#1: SOCIAL MEDIA START-UP PACKAGE

THIS IS A 2-WEEK PACKAGE THAT HELPS YOU GET LAUNCHED ON ALL THE MAJOR SOCIAL MEDIA

FIRST WEEK — ACCOUNT SETUP

Google

  • Acquire best possible Gmail username(s) for business
  • Identify relevant, influential blogs and subscribe to those blogs in Google Reader
  • If applicable, set-up and/or retrieve Google Places account
  • Respond to any current Google Places reviews
  • Use this Google account username to sign up for all social platforms

Twitter

  • Acquire best possible Twitter username(s)
  • Create Twitter account including profile picture, bio and contact information
  • Create Twitter background with appropriate logo(s) and contact information easily visible
  • Identify relevant, influential Twitter accounts and follow those accounts

Hootsuite

  • Create Hootsuite account
  • Prepare appropriate Twitter feeds including separate feeds for @mentions, Direct Messages, your retweeted tweets, standard Twitter feed, and all relevant hashtag searches

Facebook (personal)

  • Profile pic, cover photo, bio, contact information

Facebook (business/product)

  • Design profile pic and cover photo
  • Insert bio, contact information
  • Upload relevant photos and add appropriate tags and descriptions
  • Identify relevant, influential Facebook accounts and Like them
  • Create Facebook Tab for Twitter Feed
  • Create any other relevant Facebook tabs for bonus materials such as videos or downloadable content.  Set these up so content is locked unless page is Liked.

LinkedIn (personal)

  • Setup account with profile pic, bio/summary, work history
  • Identify 50 of the most relevant and populated LinkedIn groups and join them
  • Import contacts from all possible accounts

LinkedIn (group)

  • Set up profile
  • Invite all LinkedIn connections to join group

YouTube

  • Set up account and profile
  • Design/add background
  • Upload any current relevant videos
  • Identify relevant, influential YouTube accounts and subscribe to them

Yelp (if applicable)

  • Set up Yelp account
  • Set up or retrieve Yelp business and add bio, profile pic, and photos
  • Respond to any current reviews

SECOND WEEK — POSTING STRATEGY

Content for Twitter posts

  • Current blog posts from key influencer blogs (2-3 per day)
  • Relevant quotes from either key influencers or from client (1-2 per day)
  • Retweet content from key influencer Tweets (1 per day)
  • New blog post by client (3 times on day blog post is published)
  • New video by client (3 times on day video is published)
  • Browse Hootsuite’s hashtag feeds to target users who may be interested in client’s product.  Mention these people in a tweet (whenever appropriate)
  • Any announcements

Content for Facebook posts

  • Current blog post from key influencer blog (1 per day)
  • Share post from key influencer Facebook page (1 per day)
  • Relevant quotes from either key influencers or from client (1 per day)
  • New blog post by client (1 on day blog post is published)
  • New video by client (1 on day video is published)
  • Any announcements

Content for LinkedIn posts

  • Post new blog post by client once in their own LinkedIn group, and once in every LinkedIn group client has joined on day blog post is published
  • Any Announcements
  • New video by client once in their own LinkedIn group, and once in every LinkedIn group client has joined on day blog post is published

Friending, Following, Connecting and Liking

  • Follow 50 relevant Twitter accounts per day
  • Friend 10 relevant Facebook Personal accounts per day
  • Like 10 relevant Facebook Business pages per day
  • Invite 10 LinkedIn personal members to connect per day

#2: BLOG COACHING PACKAGE

THIS IS A 2-WEEK PACKAGE THAT HELPS YOU GET STARTED BLOGGING AND BUILDING YOUR AUDIENCE

FIRST WEEK 

  • Set up blog
  • Help client identify and focus key topics for blog posts that support and are related to business and/or product
  • Use these topics to identify a list of keywords that will be used for tagging posts and to be mentioned in post content

SECOND WEEK 

  • Provide writing prompts to client for blog posts
  • How to title a post for SEO and to draw attention to potential readers
  • How to structure a blog post for easy, informative reading that will gain readers, subscribers and prompt social media sharing
  • How to optimize back end of blog for SEO
  • How to stay current and up to date in client’s Field of Interest
  • Hyperlinking certain words or phrases to link to other blog posts by client and key influencers
  • What to do with each blog post once it is published

#3: SOCIAL MEDIA TRAINING KIT

If the client so desires, they can request a Social Media Training kit at the end of the two week Start Up. This document will be personalized and structured around the specific goals and objectives of the business and/or product.  The goal is to allow the client to continue on in effectively developing and utilizing their own social media presence after initial services have ceased so that they may grow their business and garner interest in their product independently.  This Training Kit will include:

  • Step-by-step ‘how to’ instructions for ideal posting on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and any other social media platforms that the client finds necessary.
  • Instructions on how to approach responses to both positive and negative reviews on Yelp and Google places.
  • Instructions on how to utilize Hootsuite, specifically with regards to hashtag searching and URL shortening.
  • How to appropriately respond to comments on blog posts written by the client
  • How to develop relationships with Key Influencers on Twitter and Facebook, and how to utilize those relationships to help promote the client’s business and/or product
  • How to identify other key influencers

#4: HOURLY CONSULTATION

In lieu of or in addition to above Social Media and Blog packages, client can make appointments for in person or over the phone hourly consultations with us regarding their social media or blog strategies.
